The Philippines is one of the most beautiful archipelagoes on our globe. More than 7000 islands make sailors’ hearts beat faster. Sitting on the borders of tectonic plates the Philippines was and is being shaped most attractively. Filipinas is part of the Ring of Fire with currently 24 active volcanoes. The abyss of the Mariana Trench is approximately 2500km east of Manila. And the East shores of the Philippines are especially exposed to ever more intensifying typhoons originating in the Pacific.
